Lesson 7: The Secret Inside the Box
The storm was still strong, but Nora opened the metal box carefully.
Inside, they found an old map and a small golden key. The paper was wet, but they could see strange symbols on it.
“What does it mean?” Sam asked.
Before Nora answered, they heard a voice behind them.
“You found it.”
They turned around and saw an old sailor. His clothes were dark and his face looked tired.
“The boat belonged to my brother,” he said quietly. “He disappeared many years ago during a storm. He hid the map to protect something important.”
Nora felt surprised. “Protect what?” she asked.
The sailor pointed toward the sea. “A small island,” he said. “There is nothing dangerous there — only a secret place full of memories.”
The wind suddenly stopped. The sea became calm.
When Nora looked back, the sailor was gone.
In the morning, the boat disappeared forever.
Nora kept the golden key — not to open a door, but to remember the mystery of the sea.
